Lastwall Platform Capability Test: Shared Services Canada
Lastwall Platform Capability Test: Shared Services Canada
As a cybersecurity company focused on safeguarding the most important digital assets in government, defense, and critical infrastructure, the Lastwall team has always jumped a tthe opportunity to showcase the strength and security orientation of our solution. The platform's capabilities have expanded considerably since our initial deployment with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) in 2017, growing mainly to stay ahead of new cyber vulnerabilities and meet consistently evolving cybersecurity policy mandates such as those related to Zero Trust Architecture. With an eye to the (somewhat) near future in which a Cryptographically Relevant Quantum Computer (CRQC) is available and brings with it the capability to break most forms of modern encryption, our team got to work on implementing quantum resilient algorithms.
In January 2023, with support from the Innovations Solutions Canada program and sponsorship via the Shared Services Canada agency, Canada's Centre for Excellence in Next Generation Networks (CENGEN) was contracted to third-party validate the capabilities of the Lastwall platform. As the number of companies claiming to offer highly secure identity and access management services continues to proliferate, tests such as the one conducted by CENGEN are essential to ensuring products are able to execute as partner agencies and customer expect. With full disclosure in mind, the following outlines what components of Lastwall's identity platform were put to test, along with the corresponding results.
